Engr. Ernest Yao Agbanyo is an assistant lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Cape Coast Technical University, Cape Coast. He holds an M.Phil. Automotive engineering technology from UEW- Kumasi campus and currently pursuing PhD mechanical engineering at UMAT, Tarkwa specializing in thermo-fluids and energy systems/ automotive transmission systems. He also holds a BSc in automotive engineering technology and a certificate in education from UEW-Kumasi. He further holds motor vehicle technicians’ parts iii, ii, i from Takoradi Polytechnics and Tarkwa School of Mines respectively.
He worked with the Ghana education service as unit head, headteacher, and subject teacher in auto mechanics, metal works, science, and mathematics at Oguaa Senior High Technical School, Akonoma da Basic School, and National Vocational Training Institute, Takoradi. He also worked at BMK- New Plymill as a production assistant and administrative timekeeper. His career objective is to train and equip students with the requisite practical and technological skills in automotive engineering to address challenges affecting industry and society with respect to automotive engineering.
