Dr. Charles Morrison is a lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance at Cape Coast Technical University, passionate about promoting inclusive growth in Sub-Saharan Africa through sustainable and innovative finance. He holds a PhD in Business Administration, a Master of Commerce in Finance from the University of Cape Coast, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Ghana. His teaching includes Financial Management, Accounting, Economics, Research Methods, Financial Markets, and Strategic Management
Dr. Morrison’s research centres on sustainable finance, financial inclusion, climate change, remittances, and inclusive growth. He has published in reputable outlets, such as the Economics of Disasters and Climate Change, and contributed to edited volumes with Springer. At CCTU, he serves as the Faculty Examinations Officer for the School of Business, which also doubles as the Examination Officer for the Department of Accounting and Finance. Additionally, he has worked as a Research Officer and committee member of the examination moderation (Department of Accounting and Finance).
