William Kwaasi Amanor is a Senior Technician in Civil Engineering with expertise in Highway and Transportation Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering, and he serves at the Department of Civil Engineering, Cape Coast Technical University. In his role, he supports teaching and research activities. He is uniquely resourceful, resilient, and adaptive. He possesses intellectual capabilities, maturity, and a solid spirit of teamwork, but he can work alone. William is a registered professional engineer with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Ghana, and he is also a member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Hong Kong, reflecting his commitment to both local and international professional networks.
He actively participates in professional workshops and conferences, sharing insights and learning from the latest advancements in civil engineering, maintaining his edge in the field. His research interests cover critical topics, such as road safety, travel demand management, public transportation systems, travel & driver behaviour, transport planning, sustainable transportation, traffic studies, and pavement engineering and materials, and he remains dedicated to addressing these challenges through innovative solutions and impactful research.
