Profile

Prof. Ben Ebo Attom is a Associate Professor in Accounting and Finance at the Cape Coast Technical University's Department of Accounting and Finance. He holds a Ph.D. certificate in Finance from Crescent School of Business at the B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai – India. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA-Finance) from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM) degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

He has worked diligently in several capacities at the Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) including, Director of Research and New Programmes, Director of International Linkages and Institutional Affairs, PASS Project Coordinator (DAAD-sponsored Project). He has extensive experience in internationalisation strategy in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with a specific niche in academic collaboration, MoU development and joint project application for funding. He has successfully won a number of international projects funded by DAAD and ERASMUS+ over the years.

As a distinguished academician, he has jointly published three books with local contents and several publications in the local and international journals, in the areas of Finance, Accounting, and Business Development and Management. He is currently the Dean, Directorate of International Programmes and Institutional Linkages at the Cape Coast Technical University.

Prof. Attom, before his appointment at the University, had worked with the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority as Accounts Supervisor in charge of Final Accounts and IBS Consulting Alliance (a Business Consultancy Firm) as Business Development Consultant. employment as a lecturer at the Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) - the then Cape Coast Polytechnic in October 2008.
