Profile

Panin Asirifua Obeng presently holds a PhD in Environmental Sanitation and Waste Management at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. She has a Master of Science Degree in Water and Environmental Management obtained from the Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom and a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Cape Coast Polytechnic in Cape Coast Ghana. She is currently a lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department, Cape Coast Technical University, where she teaches courses in Environmental Impact of Construction Activities, Environmental Quality Engineering, Environmental Impact Assessment and Civil Engineering Construction Materials. She is currently the Co-ordinator for Quality Assurance in the Civil Engineering Department She conducts research in Environmental Engineering with specific emphasis on Environmental Sanitation; design, collection, treatment, reuse and disposal of wastewater and solid waste; recovery and recycling of raw materials.
