David Kofi Ampah is a passionate lecturer at Cape Coast Technical University's Department of Management and Administration, holding a PhD from the University of Cape Coast with research interests spanning health, education, nutrition, public policy, agricultural development, financial inclusion, and ICT. His five published works focus on financial inclusion's impact on rural self-employment, household asset accumulation and healthcare utilization, and maternal employment's role in human capital development, with his doctoral thesis examining the intersection of maternal employment, ICT, and human development in Ghana.
As a dedicated educator, he teaches economics courses across Bachelor of Technology, Higher National Diploma, and Professional Diploma programs, including Business Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Environmental Economics, Quantitative Methods, and Research Methods. He is deeply committed to coaching and motivating students while actively supervising numerous project works, demonstrating his passion for mentorship and academic development. Ampah effectively bridges theoretical economic research with practical policy applications relevant to Ghana's socioeconomic development needs.
